This was a chalk wall mural that was created during a 26 hour work period, and the scale of the wall is 9.2 feet x 10.8 feet. The process of this piece began from research of subject matter, to thumbnails, to a more fleshed out full sketch done multiple times, and then finally scaling up from sketch to chalk wall. The message “Swim against the current pushing you down” was a straight-forward message to the viewers in order to tell them to keep moving forward even when everything is trying to push you back.
